Livebearer. Ratio ~1 male:2–3 females. Gestation ~28–45 days. Provide dense plants/grass for fry; separate if needed. Feed powdered fry food/micro-worms/baby brine.

Hardy livebearer. Prefers alkaline, mineral-rich water; benefits from a little marine salt (optional). Keep in small groups with more females than males.
